Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the official website of the Venice Debut. These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets for participation in the event. Users are advised to carefully read the following before proceeding with the purchase. The purchase of the ticket implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Subject of the Agreement

This agreement concerns the sale of tickets for participation in the event “Venice Debut”. The sale is governed by the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 70 of April 9, 2003, implementing Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce, as well as Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 (hereinafter referred to as the “Consumer Code”).

2. Purchase Conditions

Ticket purchases are made exclusively through the official website and imply full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The sales contract is considered concluded upon the receipt by the purchaser of the order confirmation via email.

3. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article 59, paragraph 1, letter n) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of tickets for events with a specific date or for a set period. Consequently, the purchased ticket is non-refundable, except in cases expressly provided for by law.

Event Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government orders, pandemics), the ticket holder will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price paid, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1463 of the Italian Civil Code.

5. Ticket Transferability

The purchaser who cannot attend the event may transfer their ticket to third parties, subject to formal notification sent at least 7 days before the event to the email address support@venicedebut.com. This communication must include the details of the transferee (name, surname, email) and the original purchaser. The organization reserves the right to confirm the transfer of the access title via email.

6. Dress Code

All participants are required to adhere to the following dress code:

Dress code for Debutantes: Snow-white dress, light-colored shoes, hair styled in an updo. Long white gloves and the crown will be provided at the time of Coronation. Leather-soled shoes.
Dress code for Lady Adults: Formal evening gown or period costume.
Dress code for Debutante and Adult Gentlemen: Preferably white tie with a white bow tie. Black tie (tuxedo) is also acceptable.

7. Participation of Debutantes

Participants in the Venice Debut must be between the ages of 15 and 26 on the date of the event. The organization reserves the right to request identification to verify compliance with this requirement.
For the Debutantes and their Cavaliers, attendance is mandatory starting from the first dance rehearsal, which will take place on September 16, 2026. We suggest arriving in Venice the day before.

8. Photography and Video Recording

By purchasing the ticket, participants agree that photographs and video recordings may be taken by the organization during the event. These materials may include images of participants and may be used for editorial, promotional, and commercial purposes without any obligation to provide compensation to the subjects portrayed. The purchaser, by accepting these Terms and Conditions, expressly authorizes the use of such images pursuant to Articles 96 and 97 of Law No. 633 of April 22, 1941 (Copyright Law).

9. Event Cancellation and Modifications

The organization reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to force majeure or organizational reasons. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be issued as provided in Section 3 of these Terms and Conditions. Any substantial changes will be communicated to purchasers via the email address provided at the time of purchase.

10. Participant Responsibility

Participants assume full responsibility for their participation in the event and agree to comply with all applicable laws and the directives issued by the organization. The organization declines any responsibility for damages or losses incurred by participants during the event that are not directly attributable to gross negligence or willful misconduct by the organization.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Italian law. Any dispute concerning the validity, interpretation, execution, or termination of these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Venice, in accordance with Articles 18 and 19 of the Consumer Code.

12. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

The purchase of the ticket implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Without such acceptance, it will not be possible to proceed with the ticket purchase.
